Located in the middle of the historical coast-city Trieste, surrounded by Roman ruins and the precious Miramare Castle, SPRIN was built as an Università degli Studi di Trieste’s spin-off in 2007.

This educational and scientific environment attracted expertises that operate in different fields: organic chemistry, biocatalysis, enzyme technologies, specific ligand and enzyme immobilization, solid phase synthesis, molecular modelling and computational chemistry in general.

Our commitment is to develop and offer existing and emerging technologies in chemical pharmaceutical and food industry applications, through sustainable processes and innovative products.

In partnership with Resindion S.r.l. (Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation), leader in the industrial production of functionalised polymers specific for enzyme immobilisation, solid phase synthesis and chromatography, SPRIN is able to provide a complete range of products worldwide.
