Penicillin amidase (E.C. 3.5.1.11) is immobilized covalently on acrylic carrier and it is suitable for industrial use either in batch or column reactors.
Penicillin amidase catalyzes the hydrolysis and synthesis of amides. It finds application in the resolution of chiral amines/amides and in the synthesis of beta-lactam antibiotics. It can be used either in aqueous or anhydrous environment.

IMMOBILISED CALB (Candida antarctica)
Lipase from Candida antarctica (E.C. 3.1.1.3) is probably the most widely known and used enzyme in biocatalysed organic synthesis, finding also applications in food chemistry and biofuel (biodiesel) production. Specifically it finds application in esterification/transesterification of alcohols and amides and for resolution of chiral amines/amides and alcohols/esters.

IMMOBILISED Lipase PS (Pseudomonas cepacia)
The lipase from Pseudomonas cepacia (E.C. 3.5.1.1) represents a widely applied catalyst for highly enantioselective resolution of chiral primary and secondary alcohols. It is useful for transformation of triglycerides in food applications, but also for the production of biodiesel or other chemicals from renewable source, such as tensioactives. The enzyme shows significant regioselectivity in the esterification/hydrolysis of polyols, such as mono- and poly-saccharides and it can also catalyse the stereospecific synthesis/hydrolysis of amide bonds.
