Our mechanically resistant methacrylic resins are the solution for the issues correlated to the industrial use of traditional soft gel media. Compressible resins perform well in the small scale, but impose severe limits on bed heights and flow rates. Nowadays, industrial processes move towards rigid resins, suitable for big chromatography scale and high flow rates, making easier time and productivity optimization. Our products represent the answer to this industrial requirements.
SPRIN affinity and chiral chromatography media are designed to display high Dynamic Binding Capacity (DBC) and many cycles of resin reuse. High DBC lowers consumables cost, impacting significantly on product cost, while resin reuse is a dominant parameter at high scales. Recycling reduces material cost and column packing frequency.

• high bulk density for controlled bed expansion and settlement;
• high functional group stability in acids, alkali and solvents;
• lower beads compressibility under high flow rate and high column bed size conditions;
• high mechanosmotic resistance, associated to negligible beads volume change under pH, salt concentration and solvents variation.
